Ordering & making
Are your beds made to order?
Yes. Almost nothing sits in a warehouse — we build each bed to your size, base and fabric once you order. Allow around 14 working days from order to delivery. If you need it sooner for a moving date, tell us and we’ll do what we can.
Can I choose the size, base and colour?
That’s the whole idea. On each bed you pick the size (from 3ft single up to 6ft super king), the base type, and the fabric from our range of velvet colours. The price and your monthly finance figure update as you go, so there are no surprises at the basket.
Can I see the fabric before I commit?
Yes — order up to five free velvet swatches and we’ll post them out, so you can see the colours in your own light before you decide. There’s no charge and no obligation.
Can I change my order after placing it?
Up to the point we cut the timber and fabric, changes to size, base or colour are free — just call or email. Once a bed is in build it’s being made specifically for you, so we can’t always undo it, but we’ll always try.
Delivery
How much is delivery?
Delivery is free across the UK mainland. A small surcharge applies to some Scottish Highlands and Islands postcodes; if that affects you it’s shown at checkout before you pay.
Who delivers my bed, and will you bring it in?
We arrange and carry out delivery ourselves wherever we can — occasionally, for distance, we’ll use a trusted delivery partner. Either way it comes to the room of your choice, set level, with the packaging taken away. You won’t be left with a flat-pack and an allen key.
Do you deliver outside the UK?
Not at the moment — we deliver to the UK mainland only.
Paying
Can I spread the cost?
Yes — 0% finance over up to 12 months, through our finance partner PayItMonthly. Applying is a soft credit check, so it won’t affect your credit score to see if you’re approved, and you pay the same whether you pay in full or monthly.
How can I pay?
Credit or debit card, Apple Pay and Google Pay, or 0% finance with PayItMonthly. Everything is taken securely — your card details never touch our servers.
After it arrives
What guarantee do I get?
Every bed we make carries a ten-year guarantee against faults in the frame and the making. It’s the same makers, the same floor, standing behind the bed for a decade. See our guarantees page for what’s covered.
What’s your returns policy?
If a stocked item isn’t right, you have 30 days to return it. Because most beds are made to your order, made-to-order pieces carry a making-and-handling consideration on change-of-mind returns — but anything faulty or not as described is always put right at our cost. How do I look after the bed and mattress?
Rotate a new mattress every few weeks for the first few months, then a couple of times a year. Brush velvet gently with a soft cloth in the direction of the pile, and blot spills rather than rub. That’s honestly most of it — these are built to be lived on.
Visiting & contact
Can I come and see the beds in person?
Please do. You’re welcome at our store — Hauser Interiors, Autobase, Walsall Road, Wednesbury, West Midlands, WS10 9SS. We’re open Monday to Saturday, 10am–7pm, and Sundays 11am–5pm. It’s worth a quick call on 01922 661624 before you set off so we can make sure someone’s free to show you around.
Do you make anything besides beds?
Beds are what we’re known for, but we also supply home furniture to sit alongside them. If there’s something particular you’re after, ask — there’s a good chance we can help.
