Ultra Step is a 9mm high-density underlay built for high-traffic areas. The 180kg/m³ density (one of the highest available) is what makes it suited to stairs, hallways and landings: it absorbs the impact of foot traffic before that impact reaches the carpet, which extends the carpet’s life.
