Herringbone flooring in real wood has been a timeless choice for centuries, offering a striking pattern that adds both visual interest and a sense of spaciousness to any room. This flooring comes with a 1mm attached underlayment, providing sound reduction and added warmth. Lignum Core is 100% waterproof, making it ideal for kitchens, bathrooms, and utility rooms.

Installation Guide

  • Ensure subfloor is clean, dry, level, and free from debris
  • Acclimatise planks in the room for 48 hours before installation
  • Use the click-lock system - no glue required
  • Start from the longest wall and work towards the door
  • Leave a 10mm expansion gap around all edges
  • Stagger joints by at least 300mm between rows

Care and Maintenance

  • Sweep or vacuum regularly to remove dirt and grit
  • Mop with a damp cloth - avoid excessive water
  • Use felt pads under furniture legs to prevent scratches
  • Clean spills immediately
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners or wax polish
