Acclimatise unopened packs for 48 hours in the room
Subfloor flat to within 3mm per metre, dry, debris-free
Use a DPM or underlay with vapour barrier on concrete
Click-lock at 20 to 25 degrees
10mm expansion gap around all perimeters
Offset end joints by at least 200mm

Sweep or vacuum with a soft attachment
Damp mop with a laminate-approved cleaner
No abrasives (they will dull the gloss)
Wipe spills immediately
Felt pads under furniture
Doormats at entry points to keep grit out
